about.
Isabelle Lee is a multidisciplinary visual artist working across cinematography, photography, filmmaking, mixed media, and graphic design. Based between New York and Los Angeles, her practice is rooted in experimentation, combining digital and analog processes to explore texture, emotion, and the complexity of human experience. She is especially drawn to people and perspectives that are often overlooked or simplified in mainstream media, approaching her subjects with curiosity and care.
Her work spans narrative and editorial filmmaking, film and darkroom photography, tactile mixed-media processes, and visual design. Across each medium, she embraces collaboration, imperfection, and unexpected visual possibilities. Isabelle is currently pursuing a B.A. in Cinema & Media Studies at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. A broader selection of her film photography, design work, and ongoing creative projects can be found on her Instagram, linked below.
